Gentlemen, You are looking good today! But you will look and feel even better after doing a particular thing daily, and that is taking cold showers, but wait, are they even good for you?
For the past few years, I have seen tons of content about the benefits of cold showers. I always thought, “Hell, no.” Then a friend of mine brought up the topic.
So, in this post, we’re going to uncover the true reality of cold showers. Are they really good for you!?
P.s: For not to be vague, I also took cold showers for a whole month!
Cold Showers Claims
- Boosts immune system
- Fights depression
- Reduces muscle soreness from exercise
- Helps you to deal better with stress
- Increased alertness
- Burn fat
- Improves your sleep
- Increased testosterone level
- Elevated sperm count & mobility

As said earlier, I took cold showers for the past month, and I concluded that they SUCK!
I love my hot showers. BUT I felt some exciting things after that month, and I think there are several benefits of cold showers for men.
What Did I Notice?
I noticed that after taking a cold shower, I felt great! It helped with my motivation as you tend to think clearer.
It’s all about that ‘moment’ when you get into a cold shower, it teaches you to overcome the mindset to run!
You learn to charge forward. Your alertness levels get heightened, and guess what, after 30 seconds in, it wasn’t that bad.
My time in the shower reduced too!
Moreover, my skin benefited. Hot showers strip moisture from your skin.
However, I have no idea about my sperm count or my testosterone levels. My achy muscles got some relief after taking a cold shower.
That was my side of the story, but we need absolute proof!
So, let’s have an overview of some researches done on cold showers. Shall we?
How long should you take a cold shower?
Various research on the benefits of cold shower shows that the water you use in your shower does not necessarily need to be cold for the entire duration of your bath.
